2012 TALKS

We're delighted to announce our season of talks for 2012

We kick off at Metheringham Airfield on

Saturday 31 March 2012 with a bit of a departure for us -  WW2 theme. 

We will have 3 Talks  - JIM SHORTLAND will give 2 tof these - The Rise & Fall of the V Weapons and The Life & Times of the Tirpitz

He will be joined by DAVE HIBBITT whose talk is entitled 'I Think There's a Bunker In My Garden;The Archaeology of St Vincent's, Grantham'

We then return to the Royal Naval Association Club, Coulson Road, Lincoln for our next three talks

Thursday 12 April 2012 - PETER HART and a talk entitled 'Aces Falling'

Thursday 7 June 2012 - MIKE WALSHAW - 'Tanks By Rail' and RICHARD PULLEN - 'Lorries of the Great War'

Thursday 19 July 2012 - CHRIS JOHN - A7V's - 'The German Tanks at Villers -Brettoneux

We will be back at Metheringham Airfield on

Saturday 15 September 2012 for 3 more speakers -

TAFF GILLINGHAM - 'Uniforms & Equipment of the Great War'

IAN WALDEN - 'Wooden Tanks of WW1'    and

MALCOLM ROSS(CWGC) - 'The Work of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission'

and finally - one last evening at the Royal Naval Association Club

Thursday  25 October 2012 - ALAN WAKEFIELD of the Imperial War Museum will return to talk about 'The Boxed Collection'
